My 07 that I got one month ago (last in NW Florida as only Heritage Cycles in FWB had one-Pensacola isn't expecting any new 08's until Sept) was 11,400 OTD and I financed it all. It does have an added security system on it which bumped the price up from the 9600 MSRP.

Remember it's the price of the bike plus
freight, taxes, tags, doc fees and dealer prep

 

They have 3 or 4 Nightsters at Palm Springs Harley Davidson, I do beleive they have a 07 leftover there also, they are dealing on those right now big time.
They quoted my wife on a 07 1200 custom Two Tone with a MSRP of 12,700;
10k OTD with a Windshield and Backrest installed and first service free, I am sure we could do better if we tryed to work them alittle, but we are going the pre owned route

 

You are right, it's only money...just depends how much you need it. I wouldn't pay that price until I'd explored all the options and found the best deal. I know it's time and hassle...but that's part of the fun of shopping, I think. And no-one likes to feel like they've been screwed. I think your dealer is a tosser for trying to make you think that it was a hell of a deal...sounds like normal price to me. The 'take it or leave it' attitude is quite arrogant and enough to make me travel further and pay more for less arrogance.
