Default Rajasthan conquers sporty

Well ,my ride came to sudden sputtering halt !

The bike decided to call it quits after the Sariska sanctuary. Found a bunch of codes and cleared them followed by the bike refusing to start. Thankfully I was close to my college mates house and am staying with them. The RSA was another fiasco - they have wasted the entire day followed by delay after delay.
tomorrow will tell what the issue is

You’re going to need to add details if you want any help. Year. Carburetor? Does it crank, but not start? Or nothing when start button is pushed. Condition of battery?

Doesn’t crank - click click on start. Battery voltage - 12.3 static - 14 / 13.9 on start (when started).

not looking for a solution at this point , called the tow vehicle. Just sharing and none too thrilled about the issue- thankfully the bike didn’t stymie on the more remote stretches or in the Tiger reserve.

Well that's a complete b'stard not being able to carry on your trip. Is there anything salvageable of your trip or is it done now?

You have codes so you have some idea I assume?

Mate -
the bike codes showed
low voltage abs
low voltage coils both
solenoid starter short
headlamp short high beam

A forum search revealed that these were mostly subsequent to prolonged idling and I did travel at low speed through some bumpy roads.
cleared them and they came right back.
found a wire cut through - the tech said it was oil pressure switch. Something is shorted all right !

the trip is kaput mate - now dealing with the sorely aggravating RSA. They were supposedly coming to pick up the bike at 0730 , then at 1100 , amended to 1700 and now 2000. I have no hopes that she will move on her own volition by tomorrow either and have half a mind to sell her and buy a bike which can handle a 2.5 k km round trip!

once I get her running maybe my sanity will be restored. Anyway thanks for your time and guidance.

Battery voltage at rest
12.6+ = 100%
12.3 = 50%
12.0v = dead and Junk
Seems it is simply a Bad Battery

got the battery tested prior to leaving and the HD battery tester gave a good battery verdict. Anyhow today will tell. Hope it’s as you say

Good luck, hopefully something simple and get you back on the road! My recent starting issue was the relay, only $6 to fix. Maybe some crazed Rajasthan varmint chewed some wires, my friend's Renault had a rat (or ground squirrel) chew through a bunch of wires even when it was just parked overnight!
