well i like the security of it. and if you ever sell or trade the bike, you can cancel the remainder of the extended warranty and get some money back. so if you need it, it's there. if you don't then oh well. insurance is just that, insurance against **** happening.

I look at it this way. I don't think I have ever used a extended warranty on anything I bought. if you don't do anything mechanical to your bike your self it may be worth it to you. but if you can do maintenance to your bike or like to work on your own stuff it's not worth it.I haven't see anything major go wrong with these bikes yet, that you would need to have it. eventually something major is going to go. but it'srare if it happened within the extended warranty time. just do your maintenance and you should be good. ( that's my opinion only)

Extended Warranty?
Thanks but no thanks, especially when you consider how much they cost.
Like others have said, the majority of factory 'bugs and/or faulty parts' will show up during the free 2 year unlimited mileage factory warranty.
During a normal 2 year period I will put close to 50,000 miles on a bike, and if a faulty part is going to self destruct it will probably happen before it hitsthat many miles.
