I swapped the stock seat on my 06 1200C for the Sundowner before riding away from the dealer. Put a matching touring backrest on a short sissy bar and have no complaints. If you plan to ride any significant distances, I recommend you upgrade your seating.
Which begs the question from the masses: What to do with the stock seat? Its not in the catalog. Is there a market for them and what is a good asking price for a take-off stock seat?

I did the same thing and bought a Sundowner from a board member...got a really good price. I love the seat so far...but will really find out this weekend with 300 miles planned.
I'm going to keep my stock seat and play with it some. I'm going to redo the padding with some memory foam and gel pads and see if I can make it more comfortable. I'm also going to buy a Reach solo seat for local riding.

Put it on a saw horse, put a CD of your bike in the sterio @ full volume and turn the lights out - lean left, lean right - screw it pass me another beer - I'll show you how to melt all this snow
