Default Sportster 48 Hollywood Handlebars

I have a 2021 Sportster 48 with the stock handlebars. I'd like to know if anyone has swapped the stock bars for the HD hollywood handlebars. Did you need to replace any cables or can you use stock?

There is a related thread on this:

On a side note, the 48 is so narrow… If you google Harley 48 Hollywood handlebars there’s a bunch of pics that pop up with bikes like this, and I think it looks a little ridiculous, IMO.

I have the Hollywood bars...no need to replace or splice wiring or cables. I'm very happy with the upgrade...

What year is your 48? Does it have ABS? I understand you might have to install a new brake line if it has ABS.

One thing on a Harley with ABS I would not do is mess with the brake line(s). HD, like no other company, has pretty much ignored the inclusion of ABS.

I talked to my dealer the other day, because I was curious about this. They said they could measure the Hollywood’s for me and cut them down to the width of the stock bars if I wanted them to. They run a special in the winter on handlebar replacements so I’ll give it some thought.

I could also go the custom route and have these made, which are awesome:
