I just finished upgrading my 09 Sporty with bullet driving lights on the highway bars and changed out the OEM bulb to a PIAA ultra bright anti-vibration. WOW!! is all I can say.

I went the cheap way on my 72. I flipped the stock bracket on its back, drilled & tapped it then reinstalled it using stock headlight & bolt just had to re route wire around the front gas tank mount bolt. I don't know how to insert pic not much luck doing that computer stuff yet, don';t know about url?. You can see it on my you tube channel
I figured out how to insert the url to a vid on my you tube channel showing my change I made to my headlight. Didn't cost a dime just time, used all the stock parts to get it farther out & down

Easiest to use a image host like Photobucket.

what about digging up a 5 years old topic, huh?

Anyway, I ditched the original headlight and eyebrow on my 2102 XLC to put a 7" Fatboy headlight on. Not really brighter on the road, but it looks better...

As I didn't get the Fatboy headlight bracket with the light, I made my own from scratch:
