You gotta get one!

RE: You gotta get one!
Dude I'm happy for you, and even though I personally don't care how I look, I sure as hell care about how my bike looks. I've ridden from sunup to sundown and beyond on my stock seat and I bet I could match you mile for mile. I'll handle it even better when my Mustang solo arrives. But hey, each to is own I guess. If you don't mind the way it looks that's your prerogative. Ride safe!

Some people like to ride, and some people like to look cool.
I have a gel pad and a separate sheepskin from Alaskaleathers. I can out distance everyone I ride with and on the hottest days, I am able to stay cool. 14 hour days in the saddle are common for me. Since they help me accomplish that, I could care less what it looks like.

They come without the sheepskin covering also, besides ya can't see it when your sitting on it and I take it off when I park.
I'd rather be able to ride in comfort than anything else.
Everyone complains about seat comfort but when you suggest a fix, everyone complains about that. It was a good alternative to blowing money on an expensivecomfortable seat... there are other mods I'd rather do too my bike with the money.

dhc, after the ride to Sturgis (about 700 miles) I bought a Mustang Seat for mine. I considered a gel pad as I was not really wanting to drop that many $ into a new seat at this time, but both times I went by the booth, no one was there. The ride back showed the new seat was worth the price.
Please let us know what you think about it after a couple of 300 to 400 mile days back to back. I for one would be extremely interested in seeinghow it performs on longerdistance runs.
While I won't say I dont care about how the bike looks, I would have given up short term the looks, for some relief.
