I like it At first I was like no way it's a pig compared to a naked super sport. but that's not what it's intended to compete against at least I think so. It's more of a power cruiser and it looks like it could compete in that segment well at least on paper. It's got almost the same tq as a ducati diavel. And weighs 30-40 lbs less than the ducati and it comes in at 5k less.
its down 30 hp or so from the ducati but I'm sure once tuning is available for these bikes that won't be much of an issue. I've been doing some research and this bike is lighter than any other power cruiser that I've found so far. and it makes more power and tq than quite a few of them to while being significantly lighter.
Also to compare this bike to the vrod is not fair to the vrod this bike is 180lbs less than the v rod was and makes about the same hp and makes more tq. i imagine it would run circles around any vrod other than the destroyer stock for stock. In my book this bike is a winner as a power cruiser aslong as the dealers don't jack the price way up on these I could see them doing well. I can't wait to test ride one.

Really if you are a traditional Harley Davidson customer and you don't like it, Harley is probably doing something right.

That has become a trite cliche. Every time I hear it it just puzzles me. Alienating your core customer base and going after a group of people who not only will never buy your product, but loathe and deride it, is just so twisted it boggles the mind.
