funny to read all the posts condemning the new look coming from the old guard.
MOCO could care less about us. This bike is in no way marketed to the old guys. This is marketed to 20 somethings. For Harley to survive long term they have to gain young riders in a greater percentage than what they currently have.
love it, hate it……it’s not made for us
That's not the point...why call it a Sportster... the Sporty has a different focus and legacy than the "new" version represents.

Just say NO!
Blasphemy calling it a Sportster. No connection to the linage of the 4 cam, air cooled V-Twin that has had a long storied history. Remember that #1 was earned by the XR750. Harley K models & Sportsters are lineage.
Call the new bike something else. It’s a new platform = new name. Somebody at HD missed the mark big time! Shame on them!

I don’t care where the new machine fits, it will be judged by the buying public.

I’d buy the Dival if it was a power cruiser I’m after. I did test out a Rocket 3 some time back….impressive weighty beast. Needs to shed a few lbs while keeping its power.
