well for those of you who are new here or never read my post a little over a month ago...i lost my best friend to cirrosis of the liver,he was my best riding buddy also..so yesterday i did something i normally wouldnt do..it was 95 degrees outside just to top it off..but i did about 200 miles alone..it was the kind of ride me and bob would have done together..i stopped at common places me and bob used to stop at..it was very nice and i had a couple of moments where i thought he was riding behind me(thats where he always was)..who knows maybe he was there...but it was a very peaceful feeling and i was able to do alot of thinking as i was cruising..ive come to grips with the fact that bob isnt here on earth anymore and the 2 of us will meet again someday(hopefully not to soon) but he is definitly here in spirit..and i will continue to believe that he is riding with me like a guaurdian angel looking over me..

 

That's awesome! I am so happy that all this rain is all over with. I drove my car more in the last two months than I did the second half of last year! I'm sure he's looking out for you bro!

i never stopped riding..i just havent had such a nice relaxing ride since bobs passing..i still have my ups and downs but for the most part im ok now..the wife and i have gone out riding a few times recently and one night we were coming home from watching a band play at a local biker bar she told me she was crying on the back of the bike the whole ride home..she was thinking about how bob was always out with us and she felt him there also..i think she has her ups and downs also..but we are both getting stronger day by day..i cant stop riding because i know bob would be pissed at me if i did...

 

Awesome man. I'm sure he's watching overand riding along with you. As we all have, I've lost a few close ones, and doing what I used to do with them is hard but I do it on purpose sometimes. It's hard but it's also a great feeling because you know they're still there with you. Take care.

Glad to hear he was with you on your ride. Friends becomeis part of your life and they stay with us for a long time after their time on earth has ended. Cherish the memories and feelings.
