Harley-Davidson had joined hands with China's Qianjiang Group in 2019 to make bikes that are smaller than 500 cc capacity. The first product to come out of this will be a sportster based on QJ SV300.

The street 750 itself was looked down upon in India. A smaller Harley with made in China tag is unlikely to get a good reception!
wonder what the bean counters are smoking - seems potent .

 

i never said it was for the u.s market just that it was billed as the new sporster. As much as we like to think the whole world does not revolve around the us only.

Yeah unless you can actually find an article where they explicitly state this bike will bear the sportster model name then this is kind of just a baity title. For all we know thats the new HD street. There is a ton of speculation what the new sportster will be based on but to come in and definitely state that this new 338cc bike will be THE NEW SPORTSTER MADE IN CHINA without actual sourcing is just plain dumb.
