Default AMSOIL 20-50 oil change

Just bought 5 quarts of AMSOIL 20-50 to put in a 06 1200C, mileage 3900, putting it in engine and primary. Is there any words of wisdom people want to pass on to me as I do this??? Is there any words of caution I might follow from others privous experience.

Exactly 1 quart in the trans/primary and 3 quarts MAX in the engine and filter combined. Don't fill the oil level past 1/3 over the add mark on the dipstick. Be sure and put about 4oz of the enginr oil in the filter before installing it.

Once all the oil has drained, you put the drain hose back on the stud but don't tighten the clamp. Fill the oil tank and then take the drain hose off briefly to clear the rest of the oil out (purge the hose) until you see the clean oil. You can top off the tank if you need to but I doubt you will need to. Use a clean shop rag under the oil filter when you take it off. And have the drain pan under it. DIY gives the most satisfaction. I thought about the Amsoil and I believe it to be among the best but I used the Mobil1 v-twin and Redline shockproof in the tranny. Satisfied with results but I will try the Amsoil someday with the same confidence I have in the two I used now.
