riding glasses

RE: riding glasses
I got a pair of panoptix with a snap-in prescription. To put it bluntly, the prescription absolutely would not work. Went back four times and told that I just needed to get used to them. Finally was discovered that my prescription will not work when wrapped around.... translation: I wasted $400 on something that doesn't work. I guess I'll hafta look into goggles.....

Went with Panoptix here also. Love the frames, prescription works great comfortable when riding...BUT, don't do the transitions, they don't get dark enough. Wrote them an email, not to get anything free, just to complain a little about their "most popular lenses". Never heard back. Hindsight, wish I would have got the dark grey lens color. Spendy too ~$375

Working at a bicycle shop, we sell Serfas sunglasses. I picked up a pair called: MIRADOR. They look like Paris Hilton glasses, but lay perfectly on your cheek and no wind interferance at all. I tried most of the Serfas glasses and these were the best. They come with three interclangable lenses too. $50.00.

Just curious since I have a very narrow face most panoptix frames don't work to well for wind protection.
