I'm 5'9 170 pounds...

I rode my Road King for 20 years until last August when I got my '16 Forty-Eight. I owned a new '82 Roadster and a new '99 Custom, and I NEVER should have sold the '99 to buy the Road King. So glad to be back to my roots...the Sporty is the sweet spot...for me...

You may be on the larger side, but as others have said...get comfortable with the ride, not the appearance...
