The hose kit was included with the set I bought. You can buy a used set off of Ebay or you can get
new from Surdyke HD for about $30. #54536-02A

Here is where i located my schrader valve.

Left of the seat there was a oval shaped hole I drilled out to fit the valve.

These are the valve extensions I purchased

I use a velcro strap in that oval hole to keep my side cover from flying off...

Another forum member posted a pic where he located the fill-valve on the RH side of the seat.
(so he can still use the oval hole for the velcro strap to retain side cover)

The best shocks I’ve ever had on my Sportster were some take-off shocks from an FXDX Superglide Sport. About 13.25” eye to eye, adjustable rebound damping, progressive rate springs. I bought them on eBay years ago for $100, but I don’t suppose you’d find them that cheap today.

Here's a complete setup with air pump on this site. This is an awesome deal. $60

I would have jumped all over that but, I purchased a set before seeing this.

I have a 2017 1200 custom, bought it used last summer. I like the power and pretty much everything but the ride. I weigh about 210, ride solo. Back off the load setting on the shocks. I weigh about 210 and always ride solo. I backed my shocks down to a single rider load weight of about 180, plenty of clearance and it's giving me a great ride. Not complaining anymore..

My air shocks should help with the ride and give me the option of lowering it without going nuts.
