RE: Please - Ride On for Joe!
Wow! These posts, ideas, thoughts and well wishes are all great. It doesn't surprise me coming from this bunch!
I really appreciate all of the thoughts, ideas and honks of the horn. I rodemyself last night at about 11:00pm ona long, nice curvy highway here in Austin (no cars, full moon rising and falling through the hills and curves - it was heaven!). I definitely gave a few honks of the horn while thinking about Joe.
Gremlin bell, Harley blankets, etc.... All Very Clever!! Nice!Yes, I believe they do take him around in a wheel chair everyonce in a while, so a bell might just be the thing!
I'll tell you guys and gals what happens. I'm still hoping to go see him either tomorrow or Thursday.
Thanks again.... keep those ideas and thoughts coming! 'Preciate it.
Live to ride, ride to live.
God bless the great USA and everyone out there fighting for our freedom to ride.

RE: Please - Ride On for Joe!
I think the bell is a sweet idea.
Another idea for later onwould beto talk to the local HOG and see who's got a sidecar that they'd be willin' to take Joe for a ride in. The local chapter here did that a few years back for a guy that wasn't able to ride. Wasn't a dry eye in the place when they told his story (guy very similar to Joe)and nothin' but grins when the ride was finished.
