Fuel, fire, but no start
Hi! New here. Got a 2013 883 Sportster that a friend of a friend tried to replace the stator himself and wound up with both side covers off, which means he pulled out the cams and all. Got in over his head and brought the bike to me as a basket case. I’m more of a twin cam guy, but got it all back together fine. Problem now is it’s getting fuel and fire, but just turns over till the battery gets weak without starting. The odometer reading is flashing when turned on to try to start. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks!

plenty of compression, pushrods are good, camshafts went back in well with all the timing marks lined up. I was mistaken about the odometer reading flashing. After looking at it more closely it turned out to be the time needing to be set apparently (dumba$$) getting fuel on the plugs when turning over, plugs are throwing good spark, just strange that it won’t hit
