Default Head torque sequence

Hey guys I bought a top end gasket kit from streets port and lost specs on tightening head bolts tryed to contact them no answer I have a 1996 1200 I would appreciate any information on how to tighten ,factory or do they have their own numbers

no idea what “streets port” is. Therefore have zero information to give.

But, for one, you need a service manual so you get the Sequence correct. That doesn’t change.

I've got a set of Cometic gaskets for my 1250 build this weekend. They use different torque values and maybe a different sequence than the FSM shows. IDK, I'm just going with the method described on the Hammer website videos.

Is really dosen't take much of a leap of the imagination to realise that this is an auto correct for Street Sport .

I hope this is of help . Although it's from my 04 manual I doubt that the sequence would be any different .

The tightening sequence seems the same as Hammer recommends, but you don't do the 90 degree final torque method. Just stepwise up to 42 ft. lbs.
