Nightster with drag bars and 00-03 custom speedo and clamp
Here is it works awsome I really like the new look and the way the handleing has changed seems quicker in the corners, mid next week i will have some black 16" apes goin on, also if any other memebers are doin the 00-03 custom speedo bracket and top clamp you will need the bottom peice of the speedo clamp as well on teh backside or you can reuse the stock one but will have to drill a notch in the back so the wires can go through i dont have one on mine at the moment

007,
freaken awesome,
i just got all of my parts back from the powder coater for the exact same set-up. i had all of them coated matte black.
quick questions:
what do you mean by this "....you will need the bottom peice of the speedo clamp as well on teh backside or you can reuse the stock one but will have to drill a notch in the back so the wires can go through i dont have one on mine at the moment"...?
the parts I got off 128's list was for the top clamp, speedo bracket, and risers. do i need more parts?
also, what did you do with the wiring harness? how did you convert the dummy lights? I know on the earlier bikes it was just a simple connector change, but on the newer bikes (07) it looks like the whole piece changed. the parts guy and i spent alot of time looking at this trying to figure out how it would work. the ony thing we came up with is ordering the whole wiring harness from a custom. that is what i did, it has been on back order. supposed to be released 8/3[:@]
also, how was the length of the wires? did you have to lengthen or did you find enough slack by moving things around?
thanks

Whati mean by the back plate of the speedo the stock one has the hole for the button to change your speedo mileage act to the clock and what not thats the piece im talking about the 00-03 speedo bracket works but after the install of the backplate there is no free for the wires to go out so you will have to cut a notch or sumthing in the backplate of the speedo, wireing for the switches did not need to be extended the speedo wires will need to be lengthend at least 2-3" as for the dummy lights i have none on mine at the moment i just cut and taped up the wires but will have to put them back on next week sometime when i put my new 16" apes on

007,
hey man, thanks. hopefully the new wiring harness will allow me to find some extra slack so i don't have to cut and splice wires. same with the speedo. again it looks awesome. i hope to have mine up and running in the next couple of weeks
