RE: State Inspection Sticker placement?
I have a plate on the lower front of the frame for the inspection sticker.Looks alot better than having it on the forks. Some inspectors say they have to put them on the forks but if you dont wait to long you can peel it off and move it to wear you want.

RE: State Inspection Sticker placement?
Never had to deal with state inspection stickers, but in college I had to put a parking sticker on my bike to park in the motorcycle spots on campus. I was told by campus security that I had to put the thing on my brand new bike which not something I was going to do. J&P Cycles was a half hour drive away from campus so I went there and talked to one of their parts guys. You can buy an inspection sticker plate that mounts behind the license plate and sticks above the plate frame. The thing only costs a couple of bucks and keeps the sticker off of your investment.

I made a small plexiglass window to attach my State park Permit to and mounted it below the voltage regulator, had to buy a couple of stainless steel allens.

It does collect some road grime.

RE: State Inspection Sticker placement?
I have a chrome inspection sticker plate mounted on the shifter side in between the passenger peg and the swingarm, so the passengers foot actually covers it. All the shops should have them. JPCycles has a variety of options, if you don't want to put the sticker on an actual part of the bike. I have the first one that is shown on this link http://www.jpcycles.com/search.aspx?...&store=All. I'll try to post an image from the gallery, but not sure its going to work, so I'll post a link as well. http://https://www.hdforums.com/phot...=6&apage=1
