Default Has anybody used Bassani Exhaust???

I am thinking about buying Bassani Pro Streets for my '96 1200 custom. Has anyone used these or know of anyone who has.
I am concerned about sound and performance.

Did you seem to lose anything on the bottom end of the RPM range? I see so many people talking about losing bottom end torque when changing pipes...

No..they're proven perfomers. In fact, they performed the best of all, in a Speed Vision project a few years ago. Might be a link on Bassani's site. They're stepped tuned...both pipes are equal in length.

Have a set, the sound is great (get lots of good comments from other riders) all say they wish they had a set. Did not lose anything on the bottom end of the rpm range. My only complaint is on sharp right turns in the twisties they bottom out and scrape. Other than that, love the performance!

Thanks. I must regretfully inform you that the tank in the picture cracked severely on one of the welds on the tunnel. I had a guy (attempt) to fix it at a body shop to no avail.
I ended up buying a New Custom Chrome tank similar in size and shape and repainted all of the sheetmetal "02 Ford Mustang Cobra Sonic blue with Phantom flames.
I am having issues with my digital camera's program and can't seem to resize a picture without making it all blurry. Probably operator error no doubt.
The bike looks way better in the blue this year though.
I must say I love the colors shot on your softail as well.... hmm.......
