1. High Flow Intake
2. High Flow Exhaust
3. Turner
This opens the doors for the next 3 stages, you basically set the ground work and build from there into the next stages.
Stage 2 is cam, springs, risers
Stage 3 is lower engine
Stage 4 is top engine and throttle body
I was thinking about tucking my FP3 into that cavity but I've heard they can overheat, so I'm trying other locations

the bike is changed- no stumbling and hesitation at lower rpms even in higher gears. The torque comes strong and I had to check the rpm gear combo to realis that there was none of the lugging I felt in higher gears. The fp3 is off the bike for now (monsoons here) and will be back when ever I get on the open roads. My DK outlaw should also arrive by the time of my next update and then we can be done with the stage 1.
I would like to recommend the fp3 as the first upgrade for new owners.

The FP3 tune for a stock bike richens up the mixture some. I applied the "stock" map to my bike before changing any hardware and like you the change was very noticeable.
Had I not purchased parts as a kit and just had the FP3 I think I would of been happy to leave it at that.

the point to ponder is that changing the exhausts back to stock with a corresponding FP3 map led to a resurgence of the low speed hesitation , specially in third and above.
makes me wonder whether the exhaust is the initial limiting element in the equation?? Anyway ordered some fibreglass and tti off DK custom to fit in the generic slip ons. Will update as my stuff arrives and gets fitted.

Downloading the stock map and removing the FP3 won't make a difference. Once you mess with the ECM it will always show "RACE TUNED" when the dealership hooks it up to the Digital Technician program. Most of the time, Harley will only void the powertrain warranty on your bike. Good service departments won't run to Harley and tell them that your bike has been tuned. The only time this would be an issue is if your local service manager is an A-HOLE, or if there is an actual powertrain issue that the tech will have to call the MoCo on for assistance and they request the print out on Digital Technician.
