Default Wobble question

i have a 06 1200c this is the first time i noticed once in a while ill pull my hand off bars to check tracking, was at a bout 40mph let go and a very slight wobble for couple seconds then it stopped, and does not always do it. doesnt do it with hands on bar at all, now i did hit a pretty good pot hole wonder if it may be the wheel, Any thoughts or experience with this problem ?

It may be just the pavement, could be tire pressure too.

what kinda bars do you have, that wobble was one of the reasons I retired my buckhorns.

Loose spokes is probably the cause.

You might also check the forks. One of my buddies bought a used Sportster that had been dropped a few times. It was his first bike, so he didn't notice his front end wobble. We swapped rides one day, I and noticed it immediately. We just had to losen up the tree and get the forks back into alignment. He couldn't believe the difference.

Check both tires for CORRECT directional mounting. It could be one of the two is incorectly mounted OR both of them are. ............ BC
