Look at this -

$549.95 for the 1250 kit, if you scroll down. The 1275 is a little more.

Go to the converting an 883 basic conversion on hammer’s website. The 1400 dolla one comes with a boat load of things. Clutch ignition etc. That’s why It cost more because you need those things to complete the kit. That’s what I was referring to apples and oranges. If you just compare the 1250 kit all by itself hammers is cheaper and better quality. I suggest you read up on their website to find out what comes with and what does not come with complete kits. All the information is there

While you can use your Dynojet (I love mine), the Hammer kit comes with a Dyna ignition. It can be removed from the order. With Hammer you really get everything you need. Ignition, clutch, carb jets, etc. It is very complete. I did not look at NHRS, so cannot comment on comparison between the two.

You really need to research things more thoroughly! The NHRS price is simply for jugs and pistons and there is a similar price for the Hammer set. The larger kit price includes a lot more, so do more homework comparing the two brands! Hammer are popular around HDF and there are many happy customers. I can't comment on NRHS as they fell foul of HDF rules a long time ago. Personally I would chose Hammer, so you could save yourself time and effort by selecting them. You will need a lot of extra stuff and expense to make an NRHS conversion work.

World Wide Wait
With so many modding their bikes right now Hammer Performance are being hammered with orders.
I ordered just recently and was told they are backed up for 2 to 3 weeks.
So, order way in advance of when you want it.
My 2c is Hammer make the best kit. Especially the pistons. The cylinder liners are thicker and the fins (thick/thin) will match your year Sporty.

I heard they have stopped using Fedex for international freight as taking too long.
They are now using UPS.
Should be faster.
Just glad they aren’t using USPS. I’ve been waiting 2 months for US items via regular USPS post.

I heard they sold about 200 kits between April and May. Something about a stimulus program by the government caused a big boost in sales. Anyway, that volume is apparently a challenge with their current staff and machinery. On top of that, I guess Cometic got behind because of the Covid-19 and they weren't able to deliver enough gasket sets for awhile. The net result is the turnaround time grew from the usual 3-4 days out to almost 2 weeks although it's coming down now.
I also heard they quit using USPS for international shipments because USPS was having so many issues due to the virus and packages were getting stuck. But they tell me UPS international is about the same price and same 6-10 business day transit time.
