Default 2015 sportster base gaskets

Hi bought a 2015 883 low that had a dealer installed 1200 kit at 1200 miles. Now has 3,000 miles and the base gaskets are leaking a little on the gear shift side. There is no oil dripping but it has left a film of oil right at the base gaskets. There is no weeping on the brake side. Do you think I could just retourqe the heads or do I need to take it all apart and put new gaskets
Thanks in advance
PS there is no warranty as I bought used. Already checked.

Do not retorque the cylinder head bolts.

Unless the leak is bad, I suggest wipe it down an live with it.

Default update on leaking base gaskets

I now have 11,000 miles on my sportster and the leaking base gaskets have stopped leaking completely. I guess the motor had to be broken in and then the gaskets sealed up

Whaat? For real? I have about 7,000 miles on mine. I guess I should just wait then.

I was very surprised that they stopped leaking. I asked my independent about the leaking and was prepared for him to tear into the motor to replace them before the cases became stained from the oil. He said to wait a while as they may seal them selves in after many heat and cold cycles. There is absolutely no leakage of any kind now. I am quite relieved.
