In 50 years of working on motorcycles, I have never heard of anyone crushing an axle bearing inner spacer, on any type motorcycle.

Have you ever seen a Tyre Fitter go and check torque settings before using a Torque Wrench ? I certainly haven't .

Camshaft journals are tightened in inch pounds . Oh yeah , I'm referring to 16 valve Japanese bikes by the way .
