NEW sportster overdue!!!

The Suzuki vs800's look quite similar to the look of a sportster and have a radiator. The fins are still there, but unfortunately so is the radiator. Not sure where one could hide a radiator, but the outward appearance on these suzuki's are not that bad except for that radiator.
I own 2. A 2001 VS-800 back in the states and a VS-400 that is an almost exact copy of the 800 with a smaller bore and stroke to meet a taxable size line in Japan. The 400 was imported here. It was meant only for the Japan market. Seems to be quite a strong bike for only 400cc's. But the look is quite a copy of the Softail custom stance and feel. Looks wise it was OK for me

Funny thing about that bike. LOOKS wise, it looks like a 400-450 lb bike, but is listed with a dry weight of 494, so prob about 525 ready to run. Close specs to the sporty. I do love the look, but I honestly feel the sporty, at least mine, would be more comfortable on a long ride. Especially with my seat.
Always did like the looks of Triumphs. When I was a kid in Ohio high school, and had just bought my first bike, a 1967 Harley 125cc two stroke, I lived across the street from a guy with what used to be a 500 scrambler. He put 650 cyls and pistons on it, and Bonnie exhaust. Seems every winter he totally disassembled that bike in his shed, and painted it a different design. I used to love to hear it rumble when he got it back together.
He used to joke, that if he could strap it to a telephone pole, it would climb it. Back then, the scramblers 1st and 2nd gears were low and 3rd and 4th were for street cruising.

The current Triumph twins are all EFI, though not all have fake carbs...the photo is of a real Amal carb.
