Nope.
One of the several things that made the original Sportster such a success was that it was a motorcycle. Nothing more, nothing less. What became to be called a "Standard."
Regular motorcycles don't have kicked out front forks and forward controls that throw you into a completely unnatural riding position. Not that aficionados of forward controls don't love 'em, mind you.
As a lifelong Sportster lover, what would tickle me is if the MoCo put that new 1250cc motor from the Pan American and the Bronx into an updated frame. That'd be cool. I'd actually consider buying one.

As I said up thread, there is NOTHING remotely 'sporty' about it. If there ever was a bar hopper, THAT is it.
