Fuelpak, new download, SERT, or what?
guys and gals,
I just dropped my sideshot heat shields off at the ceramic coater. i figure while i am doing the exhaust, i should go ahead and do the whole stage 1. i will be getting a new air cleaner, but my question is what way should i have the computer remapped ('07 with EFI)?
Should i get the v&h fuelpak, have the dealer do a download and dyno, get the SERT, or do something else? please advise
thanks

RE: Fuelpak, new download, SERT, or what?
I did the fuel pak myself in about an hour. Spent most of my time trying to fit it on the bike. I think the performance is great and seldom have popping on decelleration. I think it works best with the v&h pipes, because the maps are more dialed in. I don't need to have the bike dynoed to suck an extra horse out of it, so I think the fuel pak works well.

same here with the fuelpak... its hard to get it situated to fit IN the bike, but it goes in. install is easy, tech support is great so far. from what ive read on here and other places and by talking to people, if you are only doing a stage 1, then the fuelpak is fine.. if you plan on other mods down the line, then a power commander or sert is more for you...
anyways, im real happy with my fuelpak.
