ROFL! Least I didden't put in a dichronic coated bulb, that's blue and states that it's 10x brighter than regular bulbs, or better yet, charged with xenon gas.....
1/2 of me figure'd I'd get a response like the ones below then again I have to remember the genre this site caters too. Granted my project, crude at best, does not produce any color temp charts, or light output graphs (friend of mine has that, I might) It will not reduce the amount of light put through my headlight.
Next plan is a Xenon hid hi/low retrofit, granted the lens doesn't produce an awful beam pattern with the added light. For more info and education try http://forums.lighting.philips.com/ or http://www.webbikeworld.com/t2/motor...ight-bulbs.htm
I have a relative that works for sylvania as a developer, I might be able to get more "technical" input from him.

RE: Yellow headlight
The xenon bulbs im refering to are the type that uses the HID bulb and ballast (transformer/ignitor), my kit has those seperate, which should prove interesting to locate on the bike.
HID setups run cooler than regular halogen headlights, and consume on average less wattage, 35w total, as opposed to 55/65w etc etc for halogen. The paint is resistant to 350 degrees. I'll throw it together tonight when I get home and take another pic or two. Then you can cut the project down even more

RE: Yellow headlight
Well, installation was "fun" considering it's hot and humid and my garage is like a sauna, that headlight ring was a real pain to get back together (I think I was in a rush) but it's all back now as you can see from the above pics. Im curious as well as far as how it will actually perform, so fingers crossed tomorrow or the next day, I'll get some actual shots of it's performance, good or bad
