Default the pegs blow - need floorboards.

what are the best floorboard candidates for a 1200 low? the pegs really blow, so im sure you all have the solution...lay it on me! thanks :-)

I haven't had any luck finding floorboords that mount on a Sporty, either.

what about page 961 of drag book, part # 1621-0056? those say they for to all HD models with footpegs. Mini Bullet floorboards made by the boot dr?

Are you sure you want floorboards on a 1200L? You will be dragging those things like a wet tailed cat! My suggestion is forward controls and a larger/wider peg set. Kuryakyn even makes a peg that has a heel kick-out for added comfort.

You've got the standard mid-mount pegs? Kuryakyn makes some nice ISO pegs that are wider and more comfortable than the skinny stock, round pegs. The Dually pegs are 2.5" wide, and 4.5" long. They even make some mini floorboards that probably won't be too large.

I agree..... could rename to Sparky!!!!
kinda been eyeing the switchblades by Kury myself.

see" footpegs" from my post on July 14th these pegs are about as big as you want on a Sportster

I forgot what we were talking about (due the picture above).

Oh yea, what aboutsmall floor boards for the passenger. I have noticed that right hand peg is very close to the pipe. A floor board could save the day.
