been talking to the people i know who have bikes and was suprised to find out that about 40% of them don't even have a liscense so i figured i'd do a poll to see. you don't have to leave a post obviously to tell wether you do or don't but some of these guys have been riding for years and told me they wouldn't get one until they get caught.

 

I have the kind of luck that if I chose to ride w/o the license, I would get caught and fined out the wazoo.......... so I chose to have a license.

I don't have my license, but I do have my permit. Here in NC, we can have a permit, which allows us to ride, just without a passenger. I had to take the written test to get it, but didn't have to take a riding test. I have been riding for about 4 months or so, and have about 1700 miles, and am pretty sure I could pass hte riding test, but just haven't gone and gotten my license yet. but i'm still legal.

 

me insurance company no give insurance without me give them valid license,,,,,,,,,,,,,now no license and no insurance is another story, sorta goes along with no brain....

I hav had mine since i turned 18 (that was as soon as we could get them in NC) I did ride for about 3 years before that with out one (riding before i was driving)
