Hey, what do you guys think of these bikes:

http://www.bdm.com/

They are...aggresively styled.
I like the BigDog bike. But the price is way over my head.

I went to a lawyer friends house for the 4th. He had a BD in a crammed full of junk garage. This bike was covered with dirt, dust, hair and dander. I could hardly even see it as he moved the horse blankets off it. I almost laughed out loud in shock as he was bragging about his bike to me. But admitted that he hasnt rode it in over a year. That thing probably cost him what I make in a year.( I dont know what they cost) He walked me out to my dirty, bug covered Heritage asI left and said lets go riding sometime.

Let me give some info on big dog motorcycles. I live about 20 miles from their main dealership here in Ohio, I just got through a lawsuit with Suzuki over a bike. My lawyer told me that Big Dog Motorcycles are the cases they handle the most. They said at any given time they have at least 8-10 Big Dog cases at a time. I would never touch one. Rev- tech engines also I hear are horrible quality.I could have heard wrong though.

If you want a custom, I would get one with a S&S 124 engine. They are a real powerhouse. Check out Big Bear choppers as well. Personally, for the money people charge I would just build my own bike.

There is a Bigdog Stealership here in Columbus. Nice bikes, overpriced in my opinion.

I recommend going with a Thunder Mountain Custom (now made exclusively for Harley Davidson). They carry the Harley warranty, and can be serviced by any Harley dealership. Big Dogs look cool, but are known for uncomfortable rides andfrequent mechanical issues.... just my .02 Here's a link to the tmc site:
