I'll wave at people on scooters. What I want to know is, do I have to wave at people on sport bikes?

I think I can settle this once and for all:

Never, ever, ever under any circumstance should you have at a scooter! Unless of course, the chick riding it flashes some action...

Just my 2 pennies.

If it's got two wheels and a motor I'll wave. Who knows, it might be a guy on a scoot who is first on the scene to help your *** after a terrible accident. My buddy was telling me he waved at one the other day and the guy almost lost it trying to get his hand up to wave back. Not used to getting waved at around here.

I'll say we know how to drive/ride better.....when horseless carriages first appeared on our roads in the late 1800's,you had to get a footman to walk in front waving a red flag to warn the public.

you don't have to wave back to anyone if thats your way but whats the harm in being decent and giving or returning a wave.

Tommo, you drive on the wrong side of the frikken road, how can you say you drive better?

Just kidding, I spend a lot of time in the UK, they have to drive better because the roads are so crappy once you get off the highway, they were designed for horse and carriage not horseless carriages.

I wave to anyone who waves to me except when in an intersection.

I wave back to anyone who waves at me first.
Funnything issince I put the drag bars on I have noticed that the other Harley riders don't wave or suddenly wave at the last second when they do a double take andrealize I'm on a Harley, and metrics are nowwaving all the time, people just arn't used to seeing a Harley with low bars I guess.

Yesterday I waved at a kid riding a big wheel trike.

He was just abouyt 7 years old and staring at my bike. You could tell it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen, so I waved.

His mom gave me a dirty look but it made the kids day, I even rev'ed the motor a tad and he reved back.

It was great!

ORIGINAL: Tommo

When I was a lad you had a moped at sixteen,a 250 at seventeen then you had to pass your test.....thats why I reckon there's a lot of posts on here about Americans falling off their Harleys when they've just bought them.
So I guess the Poms don't fall off their bikes sometimes? Or they don't feel secure enough about their mistakes to admit them to others on the forum?
