Default Baffles with '07 Sportster

I've got the Screaming Eagle Performance Plus Slip Ons and the SE Performance Air Cleaner + Stage 1. I'd like
to hear some opinions about the baffles, which are removeable, and what options are available. I like the sound
of the bike, but wouldn't mind making it better if possible. I'm not interested in delving into power commanders,
different pipes, or any of that stuff, just something like the BCT baffles that will replace the current baffle.

Has anyone removed/changed the baffles in these specific pipes?

Anyone installed the Thunder Monster baffles?

You say you "wouldn't mind making itbetter ifpossible". What are you trying to accomplish? What is "better" to you. Are you just looking for a sound change, louder? deeper? We need to know what you are looking for to really answer your question.

I know him, He wants a deeper slightly louder sound than the SE performace plus pipes he has, these are louder than stock already.

I'm happy with what I currently have, but if there's a plug 'n play application that can give me a deeper and louder
sound without compromising the performance or tuning of the bike I would be interested in checking it out.

Here is a e mail I sent to Big City regarding baffells in a 07 Sporty.

;
I have a 07 H/D Sportster 1200
the slip ons are Screaming Eagle Street Performance
H/D P/N 80503-07

Will your baffles fit that slip on, they are oval in
shape and not sure how to measure.

If they do fit will they be insanely louder than what
I have now?

Here's there reply.

Thanks for the inquiry on Big City Thunder Products.

Provided you have a removable baffle in your Screamin' Eagle
muffler we have Thunder Monster baffles that mount at the exit
end of your head pipe just prior to where the mufflers slip on.

In order to run these particular Thunder Monster baffles it would
be necessary for you to modify your the removable Screamin' Eagle
baffle to a straight thru design, meaning you could look from one
end of the muffler to the other and see daylight.

As to volume, it would depend on how you modified the muffler
baffle.

If this sounds like it would be of interest to you we suggest that
you call 704-847-1222 and speak with one of our tech people.

Sounds like alot of guess work to me.

Tom
