I felt the Short Shots were too loud as well … I did mount the stock exhaust back on the trike with a little engineering … the rear pipe wants to go through the rear axle housing …

I used the stock mounting bar/equalizer tube and cut off the ends that go into the mufflers … I spot welded plugs into the muffler ports for the equalizer tube … the front pipe will bolt up with no problems ...

the rear pipe I rotated a little and the rear muffler would pass under the rear axle housing … I had to remake the mounting for the rear muffler, and the support tab on the gear cover … stock heat shields mounted with no problems …

Thank you FreedomRider. And if someone read my original post, it says ShortShots quite clearly. They are one piece pipes, no seperate mufflers.
