What do I need to install this fairing
#11
As soon as I saw the brackets on the fairing that was my answer. Although if you get the docking kit that is on my screen it will mean the fairing can be easily removed. Part #58164-96A appears to be a more permanent solution.

The only thing you have to observe is the width between the forks but I assume you have bought a screen with the correct spacing for your bike?

How close are those two brackets to the width of the fork legs?
If they are prettly close you could use 4 of these clamps (pick the right size for your forks) and then you will have a quick release.

How do do I know what mm to get

39 mm is the most common for Sportsters. However, the performance models like the XR1200, the Roadster and the 48 Special have larger diameter forks.
If you don't know measuring is the best bet.
