Hi everyone.
I'd like to ask: if i buy the shortshot by myself on internet do they come with detailed instruction for the installation? i'd like to mount it by myself.. is any particular thing that i have to take care of?
another question. how long shoud the Thermal bandage be for cover the shortshots? can you suggest me how wide that shoud be? 2 inches could be nice?

not sure bout the wrap..........but yes, they come with detailed install instructions

 

I have them on my 48 and they come complete with heat shields so IMO no real need to wrap, unless of course that's your desired choice, in which case leave the heat shields off and set about doing your wrap.?

 

I just don't get exhaust wrap. The first thing I did when I got my bike was to remove it and put the heat shields back on . But I wish I had read up on the subject first. Before long I began to itch and it was then that I realized that there were thousands of microscopic glass needles burrowing into my hands and arms . Then it got worse as they worked their way through my clothing . I don't know what this stuff is like to apply but now I understand why you need to wet it ! Anyway it's up to you but it just seems like a lot of trouble to go to for no purpose .
