i have had a mustang seat on a roadstar 1600 and corbin seat on a warrior 1700 and a sun downer seat on my v rod and a sun downer is what is on my sportster
This is a beautiful, bigaz seat! Probably costs more than my bike.

No one really needs a comfy seat for a bike with a 2.1 gallon tank. You will be stopping every hour to fill up anyway.

For a 48, a seat for a bike that had a 3.3 gallon tank would have the smallest gap between the seat and tank. I am not aware of any seats specifically for any bike with the 2.1 gallon tank that would butt up against the tank, but I also have not looked that hard so if someone else knows for certain hopefully they will comment.
I have made an observation, in the interest of scientific accuracy of course, , that in my strolls through the mall, that not even any two backsides are made equal. And of course there is a range as well.... And to make sure I had a good sample size, I really went all out, and spent a couple of hours doing my 'research'.
The moral to that story (morals???) is that the seat that fits you, has a very small chance of being the same one that fits me. Or even my wife, who is almost exactly 1/2 my size.
I bought my new Superlow, and had the Sundowner seat and pillion with back rests put on to it. For me, they were the closest to my favorite that I use on my Softail Custom, which is the Ultimate Touring seat. However, it is a style that many do NOT like, and it is a cushion effect that also many do not like. But it "makes it mine."
A weekend or two in the nice weather to a bike gathering, where there may be a few that will allow you to sit on their specific seat choice. I am pretty sure that will be the ONLY way to make sure you come away with the seat that "makes it yours" and is good for your purpose....
