Default Modifications to a 2006 1200L

I’ve had this bike for a while, it’s my first bike to tell the truth. It’s only got 11K miles on it so it’s in pretty damn good shape . It’s a 2006 HD Sportster XL1200L.

I love the way the Sportsters 48 look all besides the small gas tank that it comes with. Is there any chance that a chopped rear fender similar if not the same as a 48 would fit on my bike? Also I considered getting drag handlebars where the mirrors are under my hand controls, would that be possible for this bike also?

Thanks for any info reguarding this post, 👌👋

your fender can be chopped, not sure if the 48 one will fit, they do sell chopped fenders also for your bike......as for you mirrors you can flip them to the under side, i did the same on mine after installing new bars last year, they stuck up way too high on the top, so moved them.

Awesome appreciate the quick reply @Zateeva, I’m gonna have to check into getting my rear fender chopped then I didn’t think of that. It may be cheaper anyway thanks for that.
