Today's stupid question
So, what's best way to attacha fork bag to the fork? I have a nice Fox Creek leather fork bag for my tool kit,but it attaches with a fabric strap and 2 "D" ringsand I am not able to get it really tightly attached. It's not like it's falling off or anything, but it just doesn't seem real tight, and Iusually have to snug it up once every week or so.
I was thinking of getting those lock-tie strap thingy's but was worried that they may scratch the fork metal (I see on eBay that there are chrome straps as well as plastic one's).
Anyone use these lock-tie straps to secure a fork bag, and if sodo they work well, or are they a pain in the tush (ie. you would have to break the strap if you ever wanted to take the bag off for cleaning, etc).
That's today's stupid question.

P.S. - the fork bag that I currently use is not the one in my sig pic.

Remember that if you use the zip ties, get the black ones; they're rated for outdoor use (no joke!). Also, look for the ones that have a metal catch inside the head as opposed to the all-plastic ones. Carry spares in case you snap one.
