18mm wideband O2 sensor in bike with 12mm O2?
Since I put on an aftermarket exhaust using 18mm to 12mm adapter couldn't I also upgrade the O2 sensors to wideband? Is there anything that would keep me from doing it? When I tried to order the auto tuner for my screaming eagle tuner they said it wasn't compatible with my 2016 Roadster. I'd still like to get it and as far as I can tell the O2 sensor size is the only difference, anyone know for sure if that's all it is

Without an aftermarket tuning device like the Power Vision w/Wideband Auto tune, you can not
use a WBO2 sensor in a system not designed for it.
I believe some companies offer WBO2 sensor kits that have a simulation mode where
they can simulate a narrowband rich/lean signal, like the Innovate LC-2 but I've never
used one in that scenario. Might contact Steve Cole at TTS (Mastertune) about something like that...
good luck,

yes i'm not saying plug the wideband into an otherwise stock bike, I have the screaming eagle tuner and it has the option to flash for using a wideband O2 sensor. I was asking if they would then replace the stock sensors. I'm pretty sure they do but figured I'd ask. HD said they will work for a Sportster as long as you weld in 18mm bungs, was not sure if that meant to replace the factory sensors or in addition to that's what I was trying to clarify. It seems they mean as long as you ecm is flashed to accept the wideband you're fine, but I wanted to be sure. I've got an email into HD as well and will wait for their input
