Default Torque Specs for Derby Cover

Hey guys, I am adjusting my clutch tonight and need of the torque specs for the bolts that attach the derby cover. The bike is a 2015 48. Yes, I plan on getting a service manual soon, but hoping someone can help me out.

Just get them a little past snug with blue Loctite. DO NOT crank down on them.....

I wouldn't even bother with Lock Tite, and certainly not a torque wrench. Just gently firm them down hand tight, maybe only 2-3 fingers on the wrench. For God's sake, just firm is better than tight. Don't strip those tiny threads. That primary cover is aluminum alloy, not hardened steel.

I've read way too many threads by knuckleheads who go ape-**** on these tiny screws. Resist the temptation, be gentle. Don't be one of those guys.

" Snug them down " I like that . In Britain we would say " Nip them up " Either way I wouldn't go near them with a torque wrench . You'll never learn how to feel the right way to nip / snug a bolt if you do .

I use anti seize on the big twin derby and just snug. If they weep you will see and can tighten. Never had one weep. Maybe different with XL.
