Can't you buy a vent and modify the outer fairing?

I didn't quite follow their instructions but it seemed like there was already a ledge on that fairing for a vent. I have not noticed any "shelf" on them before. I would prefer one already in place I think. Price wise there doesn't seem to be a big difference.

I guess you need to do some searching. Most of the ones I have seen with vents are for touring models. Sorry I wasn't any help. Good luck.

Yea they are but I figured I could adapt it to a sporty, maybe. I need to see one in person to get a better feel for the fitment.

Damn H, that looks really good. Is that a Harley Batwing fairing?

I bought a Memphis Shades Batwing fairing for a Night Train I had years ago..
They make a nice fairing.

Thanks. No, cheap ebay aftermarket. However, had it professional painted and replaced the windshield.

On a good note, I lowered my windshield about 2" and it made a good bit of difference to the amount of head buffeting I was experiencing. This will serve the interim until I decide which fairing to buy.

I've got a Memphis Shades and it takes the exact same brackets that were on my regular detachable windshield. It takes about 30 seconds to remove if I feel like riding without one.
