RE: Hmph ....
Mine is a 883C. I am a Fat Boy. My "Little" scoot will pull my fat **** up to 90mph or so with no problem. If I did it again, I would probably purchase the 1200, but I do not regret my 883. I have 12,000 miles on it in a year. I ride daily in the heat, cold, wind, water, and I love it. IT IS A HARLEY.

Love that 883. She cranks and runs perfectly on 87 octane. She's tall, but so am I. A little too much power, a little too loud, but ithandles wellwith the windshield, bags, wife, and gear on board. Fun bike to ride, fun bike to own. And, just look at QUIG'sbike above--if these bikes looked any betterwe would all be afraid to take themout of the garage.

When I started looking for a bigger bike (I'm a scooter geek....just can't really take a scooter long distance) the first thing I looked at Harley wise was a Sportster.....I don't like all the stuff hanging all over the bike that the cruisers have. I put some black leather saddle bag on mine, but hey...it's black leather.... If I wanted a big cruising thingy, I'd get me an Enfield with a sidecar.....might as well be able to carry everything I own if I'm going that route. lol But I'll stick with my Sportster....my girlfriend as actually fallen in love with the military Enfield with the sidecar setup....I think she's serious about getting one.....I've been trying to steer her to a harley, but she wants a sidecar.....hrm.....883C with a sidecar????
