Default High temps on the 07 XLR

I have the new 1200 XLR Sportster. It seems to run a little hot. Duh – I live in Phoenix, Arizona and it has been hitting 115 degrees. But that is not when I ride. If I ride in the am when the temp is in the 90’s my oil temp was climbing up to over 230 degrees. I just added a side mount jagg oil cooler. That seemed to help some. I just wondered what some of the other xlr’s are running in oil temp?

PS I do have a turbo installed on this sporty.

Thanks

I ride all the time at high temps. Just ride! No turbo.

How many miles have you put on the bike so far? If your over 1000, switch to synthetic oil if you haven't already, that'll help a bit also. Beyond that, if the bikes running good, then it's fine. If it's gonna overheat, the bike will show you some obvious signs before it hits the danger zone, like rough idle, flat acceleration, pinging.
