Default 02 Sportster Oil Line (feed) issue

Hey all, I've got an 02 sportster that is weeping oil out of the feed line on the end that connects to the front of the engine right before the oil pump etc. The problem I suspect is that I just can't fricking get a wrench in there to tighten it up!!! Seriously annoying. I took it in to the stealership and told them to tighten it and they said "well it looks cross-threaded". WHAT? I hand tightened the new braided oil line then had to snap a wrench in half just to be able to tighten it somewhat. So it ain't cross-threaded unless I'm the hulk. Any advice on how to get to that line bolt? I've tried everything, but it's in a frickin engine nook and the frame is basically right up against it. Any advice is appreciated!!! Thanks people!

The line from the pump to the filter? Or, the line from the tank to the pump? If you installed a braided line, you must have tightened it up once before? I'm confused about what you are describing.
