Hi Guys, I have a 2008 Sportster Custom and want to raise the tank. I have, via this forum (thanks Guys) found the solution to move the speedo out of the way but would love to see some pics of a raised tank on a custom. Hope some of you have done this and can give me some good profile pics please.

yes, but none of them are with the tank from a custom. all are the peanut tank, not the same.

 

did mine, relocated speedo to side, what size is your tank, 3.3 peanut on my custom

 

I believe its a 5 gal.

 

Not sure how it will look with the big tank, here's mine, its 1.75" lift

 

Here are a couple of 4.5 gallon tanks with Lift Kits.

Also, now that we have 1" Tank Lift Kits, it may be possible to do one without moving the Speedo...check for clearance, per the instructions in the description.
