Default Cut the rear fender and part of the frame

Hi everyone , i'm asking few questions for customize my HD 48 2019 and this time my attention is on the rear fender and on the 2 frames who support it.
Is any possibility to cut the 2 frames (not completely but maybe half), change the rear fender with one shorter or just cut the original one and at the same time put the second seat on the bike?
What do you think?
I use the bike with my wife just one time every month.. i could set the bike with the original frame before going out with her.. do you think is possible?
maybe doing something like an arch under the original fender monted between the 2 cutted frames.. (it's just an idea)..
thank you everyone and i apologize for my english ..

I cut mine off, you can cut all or part if you want.

There's more to think about than just cutting the fender and struts. If your wife rides with you, even if it's only once a month, how do you mount the two up seat? Does she want a backrest? How do you mount that? Like others have said, anything is possible. Just step back and do a lot of thinking before you start cutting. Good luck with your project.

Oh, I missed that you will still want to go 2-up periodically. As SoftailBrian pointed out, that will not be so easy if you cut the fender struts.

Usually when cutting the fender struts you are going to a solo seat only. If you build an "arch" for the 2 up seat...I'm having a difficult time seeing how that would look good when you are running the solo seat.

Might be better to chop you stock fender back a little, and the fender struts too, but leave enough that it will still support the 2 up seat.

When I first started my build, I had a different seat and chopped my rear fender. The struts I cut to the first hole so my fender still bolted up you can see it in the pic. I could have still rode 2 up with a larger seat.

There is a support bracket under your fender that keeps the weight of a second person from bending the metal. You will need to keep that if you intend to continue two-up.

That's a sick bike man! I love the way you have it set up.
