I use the key. If I DID drop the bike, I wouldn't want to kill it... instead I'd pull the clutch in to keep it running! Must be old dirt bike habit.

I see from your profile you have a 2007 model, it has an angle sensor. So, if you drop it, the electrical will automatically shut off.

Y'all know that they are both switches with wires attached to them right?

No real difference, just different location.


I use the kill switch.

A switch by any other name is still a switch.
